Four knitted mitten patterns to knit inspired by bits and pieces of French embroidery patterns by Edouard Boucherit from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries that designer Heatherley Walker discovered in a box of musty heirlooms. Heatherly used hand-dyed yarns for all of the mittens and included tips on working with hand-dyed yarns. Her charming descriptions of the four patterns are delightful. We hope you will be inspired by this collection of knitted mittens! They truly are glorious.
