If this book doesn't make you call us and ask for backing, hook and yarn then you're probably not destined to be a rug hooker. There are beautiful traditional welcome mats, astonishing runners that tell a story, and modern designs that confirm that this traditional American craft is alive, thriving, and in full flower. This book does not include instructions, but is rather a source of inspiration.
